Albania’s Technology and Transport Projects Offer Opportunities for Emerging Suppliers

Albania’s Development Fund opened an electric-bus tender on 22 October with an estimated value of €10 million (approximately US$11.6 million), covering 23 vehicles and supporting infrastructure. This is public procurement rather than startup equity funding, and no separate venture-capital investment amount was disclosed. Startups and technology suppliers can explore fleet-management software, intelligent transport systems and business analytics, while HPC can support data-intensive product development with a project-specific quotation.
