Ghana Leads 26 Countries in Signing the Accra Convention

On 27 October 2026, Ghana led 26 countries in signing the United Nations Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents, known as the Accra Convention. The agreement aims to facilitate international trade, improve access to trade finance and accelerate digitalisation of cargo documentation. No financial contract value was disclosed.
